A concert of Baroque music by the Court Quartet ( Holland ) to raise funds for the hosptal will be given on Saturday 29 April at 18.00 in the Church in Ménerbes. Works by Jean-Sébastien Bach, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, Arcangelo Corelli, John David Heinichen and Friedrich Gustav Lange will be played.
The Hofkwartet (Court Quartet ), founded in 2000 consists of Saskia van Boven (oboe and oboe d’amore ), Henriette Sterenborg ( oboe ), Karlijn de Leeuw ( oboe and French horn ) and Cécile Kuijpers ( bassoon ),Ilneke Haag ( spinet ) also plays regularly with the group.
The concert will be offered by the musicians towards the fund raising and there will be a collection.
This concert has the support of the Gordes parish and of the Ménerbes Mairie.
